BREWSHIDO was established in March 2025 though the term was first coined around 6 years prior.
In much the same way as BUSHIDO means “The Way of The Warrior”, BREWSHIDO means “The Way of The Brewer”.
BREWSHIDO is first and foremost a producer of flavourful craft beer and an expression of a lifelong path that our brewer has chosen to hone this craft.

- ２０１０ Jon’s first taste of craft beer
- ２０１６ Dream of becoming a brewer was born
- 2019 Started brewing beer at home
- 2020 Enrolled in postgraduate brewing course
- 2022 Moved from Scotland to Kochi prefecture
- 2022 We joined Regional Revitalisation scheme
- 2022 Started 1 year intern at nearby brewery
- 2023 Graduated from brewing programme
- 2024 Bought land for brewery construction
- 2025 Established BREWSHIDO Co. Ltd.
